Theatrical Shorts

Here you will find my ever growing list of unique shorts. I had a major creative role in the making of all the shorts you will find here. Working as Cinematographer, Director, and Editor on a majority of the projects.

Homefront (2022)

Homefront is one of my later projects in college. I was the Cinematographer on this short and I am quite proud of the visuals I got out of my personal camera on this one. I worked in close proximity with my Director, and good friend, Katy Brownsworth on this project. This project is one of the few where I was dedicated almost entirely to my role as Cinematographer.

Our Shadows (2021)

Our Shadows is probably one of my favorite projects I have worked on. I wrote, directed, edited, produced, and had a heavy hand in the cinematography of this project. I made this during one of my many Covid semesters in college. With a tiny cast and crew totaling 5 people, two actors/grips, the three dedicated crew doing sound, camera, and every other thing needed to make a film, and all of it shot in one night, I am so incredibly proud of this project and impressed by the work we managed to create, despite the difficulties we had to overcome.

The Interrogation (2022)

The Interrogation is another one of my top projects. This film started as a concept and idea for an acting class I was a part of. I worked with my fellow actors on concepts, and then took our ideas and made a script out of it. I ended up officially being actor, writer, director, and editor on this project, but as we used a lot of my personal equipment and I had a very specific image in mind, I ended up being very heavily involved in the visual side of this project.

Cardboard Memories (2021)

Cardboard Memories was my first project that I was fully focused on cinematography. I got to play around with a better camera than my first project, and got to work with a unique set of talented cast and crew. Cardboard Memories was an ode to the eclectic drama, taking heavy influence from the visuals and storytelling of filmmakers like Terrence Malick, most specifically his film The Tree of Life (2011) in our visual style. I feel that we succeeded in our attempt at replication, and it is one of my most stylized shorts to date.,

Chance (2019)

Chance is an award winning short film, having won the Best Student Film Award at the Broad St. Film Fest’s inaugural year, and it is my first short film in a creative lead position. I think it is really interesting to look at in contrast to the other work here. I was the cinematographer, editor, and a producer on this project. It is by no means perfect, but I believe it not only shows where I came from, but how much I have improved from my first foray.
